Great for kids!
I've tried other curlers with my daughter that just turned her hair frizzy or just didn't work (foam rollers, bendable curlers, rag rolled), and some took forever to do. These were quick, easy, didn't bother her while she slept on them, and turned out totally perfect!<br /><br />My daughter has a lot of fine hair, that is very sleek and hard to curl. I bought these to test out prior to a dance recital she has coming up. After a shower, we combed her hair thoroughly after towel-drying, and went to work putting these in. It took around 20 minutes, but thats likely because I'd never used them before. The length of the curlers was perfect for her below- the- shoulder length hair, it didn't pull or hurt her head, and she had no issues sleeping in them. Woke up, checked to make sure her hair was completely dry, then pinched the top before pulling them down and watched the cute curls bounce! I did not put any kind of product in her hair, i just put them in wet hair and she slept on them.<br /><br />I will say that for her recital i will likely try out some kind of mousse or something to keep the curls longer, as they had fallen out quite a bit when she got home from school. However, her hair still looked cute, just more wavy than curly.<br /><br />Took off one star for the learning curve in putting them in...i realized that if i twisted the hair near her scalp it was easier to get it in the curler. Also took off a star for durability because once the tool got caught inside the curler and ripped a hole in it but it didnt effect the result.

These are amazing! Yes they take forever to get in your hair but the effort is so worth it!

These are exactly what the description states. If your not good with your hands you may have trouble but I found them great for a new look once and a while.
Worked great, struggled to get a lot of hair in one curler.
Over all these worked great. I tried them because my 3yr old daughter needed curls for a dance recital and I wanted another option than heat. It was a little hard at first and was definitely a struggle to get a lot of hair in one curler. Took a second set of hands to help hold hair while pulling through. With how fine her hair is Iโd say you would need two bags for think hair. She didnโt have any problems sleeping with them in. Her hair was wet when I put them in and curls have lasted all day with no product.
