Keeps me out of the doc's and the hospital. I am an old medical professional many years from those days but being chronically ill since 1996, I have kept myself free from any manner of possible conditions including mrsa. Follow instructions on container, do NOT overuse and discuss your use of this product with a doctor or equivalent.

Some two years ago my scalp started breaking out. None of the expensive shampoos with salicylic acid, charcoal, tea tree oil, or whatever, worked at all; quite the opposite, they turned my scalp into an oil slick.<br />After a month of shampooing with this surgical soap, this issue finally resolved itself.<br />Along with other reviewers I agree that this soap is far easier and more economical to use with a foaming dispenser. I didn’t went to buy one, but this soap is very liquid and a lot gets wasted without one.
Get a foaming dispenser very thin
Thin but works well if used in a foaming soap dispenser.
BEST ANTIMICROBIAL
Hibiclens is a long-standing antimicrobial used by surgeons preoperatively to sterilize hands and forearms. It doesn't overly dry out skin and has a mild odor.<br /><br />ONE CAVEAT: It contains betadine which is a common allergen. Therefore, it's advisable to spot test (size of a penny) on your inner forearm if you're unsure about having a betadine allergy.

Only cleanser that helps my acne. I am almost 60 years old and still have acne like a teenager. I have tried soo many different cleansers, wasted soo much money. I will be sticking with this.
