I always use this behind and around the knees, and my shoulders and neck, lower back, quads, calves, sometimes around the elbows, or I rub it into the wrists, before yoga practice or a workout. It helps warm up the body and ease the aches and pains. I've also used this after a shower before bed, although that's a bit much for me sometimes as the cooling/heating feeling keeps me awake. I like it before yoga practice the best, or before I go out for a walk. It's also great anytime to relieve aches and pains. It has a unique fragrance there's menthol and camphor in there, if that bothers you then you may not like this. But I find it a relaxing fragrance. Compared with tiger balm and ice gels and other mentholated rubs and pain gels and oils, Navratna beats them all hands down if you ask me.
