Amazing! YouNeed This!
I wasnโt sure about this at first because the product page says that itโs for โoily, trouble, acne prone skin.โ I have normal to dry skin, more on the dry side. But, I do suffer from hormonal acne, so I figured Iโd try it! And I am SOOOO glad that I did!<br /><br />First of all, it has the cutest name - โI woke up like thisโ - and it comes in pink packaging! So I was a fan of that! It comes in a jar that has a seal on it, which I always appreciate. I usually prefer pumps and donโt care too much for jars because you have to put your fingers in, which can lead to bacteria getting in the jar and then you putting bacteria on your face when you use it again. BUT, they have a little spatula type tool that comes with it. So, you use that to scoop out what you need and donโt have to put your fingers in the jar. Such a nice touch! Iโve seen that before with more expensive moisturizers but not with such an affordable one! So that is amazing!<br /><br />Iโm honestly not sure why they call it a โcream.โ To me, the texture is like a gel moisturizer. It has that thin, gel like kind of texture. And Iโm not mad about it! A little goes a LOOOOONG way! The first time I used this, I applied how much I do of my normal moisturizers and it ended up being waaaaay too much! I had to wipe some off! So after that, I used way less and it worked out fine! So thatโs even better since itโs a,ready affordable, but with such a little amount going such a long way, this will last you for a while.<br /><br />It glides on the skin so smoothly and leaves you with a dewy face. It absorbs well. It doesnโt feel sticky or greasy after. Iโve been using it before makeup, and it works great! I havenโt had any issues with any makeup products Iโve put over it!<br /><br />Thereโs no scent either, which Iโm happy about, but honestly I love the way this works so much, I wouldnโt have cared if there was a scent! ๐<br /><br />This is something I will DEFINITELY repurchase, and I will be sure to have backups on hand! Iโm loving it that much!! If you have dry skin, donโt let the โfor oily, trouble, acne prone skinโ part scare you off and make you think this wonโt work for you! Itโs been amazing for my dry skin! I only get hormonal breakouts around my mouth and chin area, and other than my time of the month, I don't suffer from acne. So, even if youโre a dry skin person who gets acne sometimes, a dry skin person who never gets acne, doesnโt matter, this will work for you! I seriously recommend trying it out if you have dry skin and are looking for something to moisturize!
Very soothing and love using this for when my skin is irritated from the sun
This i a very nice inexpensive soothing cream by I Woke Up Like This. It comes in a cute little jar. You get a little spatula with it that allows you to keep the cream nice and untainted and clean.<br /><br />The cream itself smells absolutely fantastic. I really like the fragrance of this one a lot. The texture of this one is perfect for soothing. It is not really a cream but a combination of cream and gel. It feels fantastic on your skin and if you keep this chilled it will feel even better yet, especially if your skin is irritated by the sun. I found this works for all kinds of irritations really and really like how my skin feels when I use this.<br /><br />It is very lightweight and absorbs very fast into the skin. There is no residue left behind on my skin when I use this. I am a fan and can only recommend this cream. Your skin will thank you.
