ALL OTHER SIMILAR PRODUCTS HAVE THE CONTROL BUTTONS IN THE WAY OF WHERE YOU HOLD THE HANDLE. THIS IS VERY WELL MADE AND THE CONTROLS DO NOT ACCIDENTLY GET TURNED OFF WHILE YOU ARE USING IT. I WILL ORDER THIS ITEM AGAIN AND GET IT FOR RELATIVES.

I purchased this for my daughters hair. She is African American and Puerto Rican, so her hair texture is very thick and curly. It straightens her hair nicely and leaves it with a beautiful shine. The first straightener I received was broken (didnโt turn on straight out of the box) but amazon delivered a replacement the very next day and I was able to return the broken one at my local kohls.

I just have to say this thing works and it works great.!!! My daughter has SUPER thick hair and very coarse. With our old straightener it would take us at least a hour to do her hair the way she liked it. I straightened her hair the night we got this and I was done within 20 minutes ๐ฎ for the price you can not beat this.! It doesn't pull your hair either which is awesome !
