A good skincare set at a good price point
This face roller and massager is a very good option for relaxation and skin care. I found that the roller itself and the massage tool were well made and were sanded uniform and smooth. The set came with an instruction manual to educate the user on how to properly use the tools and maximize its benefits. I didn't have any issues with the tools themselves other than some minor squeaking of the roller while applying a facial serum. All in all, it's a good set for a fairly low cost.
Nice jade massage tool set. Large rollers on one tool. Issues with Gua Sha Jade.
The very first glance of the jade massage tools, I was enamored of the rich green coloration. Plus the massage roller seemed to have a roller that was larger than usual. I was thus prepared to have this product exceed my expectations.<br />The roller has good quality materials, with decent manufacture. I am a bit dismayed because the rollers seem to interact directly with the golden tone metal arms. Most credible massage rollers have a 'buffer' , like a gasket, that minimizes the stone from rolling against the bare metal. This is important because direct contact will eventually take a toll on either part. The rollers on this tool more freely, but keep in mind that the stone is rolling against the metal rod. Add pressure and you have a circumstance wherein friction will gradually erode either of both contact surfaces. This issue is little noticed, unless you have some experience with this type of massage device.<br />The gua sha jade stone, also with the striking green hue, unfortunately had a number of issues. It has pitting on the surface, a nick on the edge and a few obvious scratches on the surface. I understand that natural jade stone will have imperfections, but nicks on the edge are not acceptable, and scratches that appear to be a machine error, not a natural phenomenon definitely affect the rating.<br />So, I have to say that my expectations were not met. In fact, sad to say, examination lead to disappointing issues. As such, this massage roller and gua sha earn a 3.5 - 3.75 star rating.
