Love this product!!!! WHY John Frieda discontinued this wonderful balm???? there is NOTHING out there that works on my hair as it does.<br />Please write to John Frieda Company as I'm doing to ask them put it back on the market.
John Frieda Sheer Blonde Spun Gold Shapng & Highlighting Balm "Is The Balm"
I'm a man, and I've been using this balm for almost 2 years and I love it. Sometimes my hair is blonde, sometimes it auburn or brown....I've used it through every color and hairstyle through the years. You need to use a small amount, rub it in your hands and between your fingers and gently rake your fingers through your hair. You can use it on spots you want to texturize and chunk also. It smooths fly aways, adds shine and eliminates that fried look all while keeping hair soft and managable. The packaging is terrific. You can get every last bit. It's a steal, and I hope they never stop making it!!

I love this hair balm, The stars are for the product : it's perfect for making my short, blond hair, shiny, texturized and not stiff looking!<br />It's so sad that this excellent product is now discontinued ..<br />And it's totally appalling that this seller is taking advantage of the situation of diminishing supply, to gouge buyers with a price that is more than six times the original price per tin!!!! This seller should get five thumbs down!<br />Anyone looking for a product with lovely shine results, should look into Scruples Pearl Finish Shine Pomade around $15 for a 1.24oz jar. eta: this product doesn't give as much hold as I like but does give lots of shine to my light blonde/white hair.<br />I now prefer "Style Sexy Hair - control maniac" in a Black jar the hold and shine are both rated 7 and I would agree with that. The stuff itself smells very nice, and looks purple in the jar (surprising) but I've found this helps to prevent the build up of brassiness on my very light colored hair.
