Best liner to brighten your eyes and turn shadow into liner - I'm a believer!

I was initially skeptical of a rose-gold liner, and when I first applied it it didn't look that dramatic on my very pale skin. However, I quickly learned how to use it best for my skin tone: to line the rims of my lower lids, which are frequently red and tired. It makes me look more awake and gives my eyes more of a shine than using basic white liner on that area. It's a godsend when it comes to getting ready for work in the morning after a night of insomnia or whatever else you've been up to. If you have darker skin, then this color will look fun on you just as a liner! But I also like to use it to line my upper lids to use as a base for using eyeshadow as a liner. It's basically like primer for a softer liner look, and I apply eyeshadow with a flat brush on top of the rose gold.<br /><br />It will stay for as long as you need it to - I recently put it to the test when I was unexpectedly called to the hospital when my best friend went into labor! I put on my makeup in the morning, had been at work all day, called to the hospital at night, barely got any sleep, and the baby was delivered at noon the next day...so that was almost 30 hours of wearing the rose gold liner under my eyeshadow liner and on my lower eye-rims, and my eye makeup was STILL in place after that baby arrived! (I also wore Blinc mascara, which I also love for its staying power!) I've also worn it on several cross-country flights (including red-eyes) in order to arrive looking somewhat rested. It definitely works!!<br /><br />You do have to sharpen it fairly regularly - I'm not a fan of the sharpener that comes on the cap, so I keep a small sharpener next to my makeup mirror. I do, however, LOVE the smudgy tool on the other end - it works great! I should buy this in bulk, that's how much I love it! I went from being a skeptic to incorporating it into my makeup routine every single day.

I was searching for a rose gold color eye pencil and found this. I have used the Vasanti face scrub before and found it to be amazing, so I decided to give their makeup a try. The rose gold color itself is quite a bit lighter than I would have liked, given how pale my skin is, however; overall I found this to be a very nice product. There is a built in smudger on the other end of the pencil, and a sharpener in the lid. I have found this eyeliner to have great staying power, despite my oily skin. I would definitely buy again, just perhaps in a different color.
