First of all, picture is just for reference. The actual color under sunlight is very close the picture on the box (to me).<br />"Everything is Japanese in this box." Check a YouTube tutorial video before you place your order.<br />My original hair color is black. I have very healthy and soft hair. Didn't dye it perm for at least one and a half year.<br />Here are couple suggestions if you are interested in it and didn't use it before.<br />1. If your hair is longer than shoulder, buy two bottles. My hair is a bit over my shoulders and I finished the entire bottle.<br />2. If you want to trim your hair, dye it first and cut it later.<br />3. Don't wash hair for at least 2-3 days before you use the bubble foam dye.<br />4. Make sure to test if you're allergic to it at least 2 days before you use it.<br />5. Don't rinse your hair when you start applying the foam. Apply on dry hair directly.<br />6. After 20-30 mins, rinse with "just" water. Do it couple times until the water is all clean.<br />7. Apply some Vaseline on your forehead, ears, etc. So the color won't stay on your skin if you accidentally touch your skin. Wrap your ears is also recommended.<br />8. You will need color protect shampoo if you want to color stay on your hair longer.<br /><br />Hope these help!
Beautiful color, hard to use
I bought this at my local Japanese supermarket and can honestly say that itโs a good color... but itโs tricky to use.<br /><br />I set up the developer and the color and it took me forever to evenly put this on. The foam is a bit finicky with the application and smelled so bad, my eyes were watering the entire application process. 25 minutes later, I washed it out and used the repair treatment included.<br /><br />The top is significantly lighter than the bottom due to a previously bad experience with another color. I definitely recommend applying to the ends first, letting it process, (10-15 minutes) and then the roots.
Easy to use and effective!
This bubble dye is so easy to use! This definitely had some small amount of bleach in it and had a little bit of damage. I love Airy Brown since I was looking for a cooler shade. The box only shows color results for levels 6 and below and you will get those exact results shown on the box. For lighter hair, 7 and above, your hair could come out grey-green! You can see that in my ends, which was about a level 8-9. The top half was about 5-6. I like it though and Iโm sure itโll fade over time.<br /><br />Some people complain of not getting foam out and being too watery. Shake 2 more times and wait 1 minute before squeezing.
