Super fun rainy afternoon activity for kids and adults alike!
This is such a super fun DIY rainy afternoon activity for little ones! Makes an amazing birthday gift for those that do not wish to receive toys. The kit is very easy to use and the directions are super simple to follow. It says for 6 years and older, but my toddler really enjoyed doing this on a rainy day with me and I love anything safe for kids to use as well. It is just simple measuring, mixing, then filling the tubes with the included syringe and VOILA! Homemade moisturizer cream that works surprisingly well! I love that is has coconut oil in it, as this is one of my favorite all natural products that seems to work in just about everything! The scents were also surprisingly pleasant...I am pregnant, and am turned off by a lot of fragrances these days, so it was nice to not have my nose revolt against what was provided. I would highly recommend these to anyone looking for a fun activity that is easy to use and do in an afternoon with the kids. Again, would make a superb Christmas or birthday gift. 7 year old loved it!
Simple but still fun
Not really as involved as I was hoping. You add a scent to an already made lotion, fill the syringe with the lotion, and put that into the little bottles. The syringe was a little difficult for 9 and 4 year old to use, but we go it going. Still giving it a 4 star because they had fun and that's what is most important.

Always fun to make your own lotion
My daughter and I like different kinds of lotion, and with the DIY Moisturizing Cream Kit it was nice to be able to make our own lotion. The directions were very simple and easy to follow. The kit only came with two fragrances so we used some essential oils I had in the house to make more fragrances. The only hard part of this kit is actually getting the lotion into the tubes. We were having trouble getting all the lotion into the tube, and it took 2 three times to get most of the tube filled. Even though it was a little messy we still had a great time making our own lotion with this kit.<br /><br />I received this item at a free or discounted price for my unbiased and personal review/opinion. Perfect kit to include youngsters!
This is a really simple, straightforward kit. Comes with 6 small tubes to fill up with either scent you'd like that's included. One big tube (sealed for protection) of the moisturizer, a small measuring cup, a mini mixing ladle and an injecting syringe. The scents i received are Chocolate and Jasmine.. my two fave! Everything is well put together, the directions are simple and easy to read. The moisturizer creme itself is actually very nice and doesn't dry my hands out like others. Initially the creme without scent added smells like a light sunscreen. Not over powering.<br /> Its not messy ( unless you have a super hyper little one) and even then it's easy to clean up!<br /> Simple, easy, not bank breaking.. this kit is great for simple learning and bonding with your little one. Great Birthday or Christmas gift/stuffer.<br /> I would suggest just having newspaper under the area for even quicker and easier clean up :) Always general precaution when little ones are around!<br /><br />I received this complimentary item in exchange for my honest, unbiased opinion!!
