Doesn't leak!!
Had to buy a bigger bottle for my 3 ratties.. They are 3 big girls and they drink alot of water. I was adding water to the 4oz bottle every other day. But with this one it's about every 3 days or so. Try to keep their water fresh. So far no leaks and I have to other bottles and they do not leak either.

The best water bottle for my Rats
I have ordered two of those 8 oz bottles, one by one. I was so happy about the perfect water flow on the first bottle that I ordered an additional one of the same brand. Both of them came in red, which I am satisfied with, however I wish there was a color choice prior to ordering, I would choose teal. I also bought a smaller, 4 oz one from Supper Pet, which constantly clog, after the first lick (do not buy it). I then ordered a 4 oz one [[ASIN:B004LOETEY Kordon/Oasis (Novalek) SOA80404 Plastic No Chew Small Animal Bell Bottle, 4-Ounce]], which is just as great as the 8 oz bottles. It came in my favorite teal color.<br /><br />These bottles are flowers patterned, full in one color with a metal pipe. They are the most pretty water bottles I have seen and also high quality ones. I totally recommend them.
Perfect for rats
However, they love to knock it off the outside of their cage when they're running around and climbing all over it
It works
We had two water bottles. One was the Bell brand and the other came from Petco. The Petco bottle goes from pouring or the ball jams and it does not dispense water. I have not had this problem with the Bell brand and so I bought a second one so I can have one on each level of the cage. I am very happy with the Bell brand. The color varies. I received a clear and a blue. There are floral designs on the bottle.
Great piece of mind
I tried Kaytee water bottles buy they would randomly stop dispensing water. This one has never had an issue. Great piece of mind.
GREAT WATER BOTTLES
Because birds are notorious for leaving droppings in their water dishes, I have always used water bottles. The glass ones I had been using for the past few years had a frequent and unfortunate tendency for the water to stop flowing down the spout, and so I had to check the bottles numerous times throughout each day to make sure the birds were able to access the water. However, with these bottles I have not had that problem. I also like the fact that the spout has enough of a bend to it that the bottles can hang on the outside of the cages. The only reason I didn’t give five stars is because the bottles come with only one single little wire which, in my opinion, does not attach it very securely to the cage.
