I had a Chi for many, many years and needed to replace it. I initially decided on the Chi Lava, which I ended up being very unhappy with. It pulled my hair, didn't get hot enough, and was just not up to the standards of my initial Chi. My hair dresser has L'ange straightener and was a previous Chi owner, as well. I decided to give this straightener a try and I could not be more impressed. I have had it a week and have already fallen in love with it. It heats up quickly, allows for heat control, shuts off after 1 hour of being on, leave my hair smooth and shiny, and doesn't pull it out while straightening! My hair is also holding the style throughout the day, which I also had difficulty with during the day. This is a great tool for getting your hair pin straight or going for the beachy waves/curls!

I bought this for my wife and she was very happy with it. She likes the temperature control and said it glides smoothly on her thick hair.
Excellent Product
Its quick to heat, doesnt catch on my hair. I was able to straighten my LONG hair in 30mins. And it stayed straight (no waving) much longer. Love it!
