Too Bad This is So Hard To Find
Won't someone manufacture cake mascara again? This is truly the way to go. Stays on, doesn't smear or smudge. So easy to apply and wears all through the day.

I love it for the very reason many of the other ...
I have used this product for about 15 years. Before that I used Maybelline cake mascara (discontinued) and before that, Max Factor cake mascara (discontinued). I love it for the very reason many of the other reviewers don't -- it washes off with water. If I need a waterproof mascara I'll buy one, but for everyday use this is the one for me. I don't know what I'd use if they discontinued this product. You can control the amount and consistency far better than wand mascaras -- no lumps and clumps. It's also nice to be able to wash out the brush after use; IMO it's more hygienic than a wand. HIGHLY recommended!

Great product. Needs instructions on proper way to apply
I like the look, wasn't crazy about the brush
I really like it, but the brush that came with it didn't look like the one in the picture, it looked like a brush one would use for blush. I was a little annoyed at that but an easy fix will be to buy something I'm more comfortable using. I did try using that brush to see if perhaps it would be easier than it looks. At first I admittedly poked myself in the eye a few times, but after I got used to it, it DID work but it wasn't the easiest to use, It didn't get all over my face like some review suggest, as that's more of a manner of learning how to USE cake eyeliner, if you haven't used it before I would suggest look up some information on it.<br /><br />No, it isn't waterproof as you have to mix it with water in order to put it on, so be careful if you get it in your eyes and your eyes water a lot THEN you might get it on your face, but a simple fix to that is using a cue tip. All and all it can be an awesome addition to your make up kit, but I would suggest purchasing a small brush to put it on.
