Great curls!
I loved this iron. I only got to use it twice because my dog chewed up the cord, but when I used it I got better, smoother curls than with my current straightening iron.

I am not the one to write reviews, and when I do it's usually negative. But I have got to say, I am SO happy with this purchase. For one, its slim and attractive. Comes with a little pouch I can slip it in when I'm done using it. I have a lot of hair - thick & wavy. Usually it takes me about an hour to thoroughly straighten my whole head, but with this straightener it cuts the time in half. Literally. I stayed away from straightening and styling my hair because it took so long, but with this one it takes 30 minutes. I don't have to repeatedly go over the same strand to get it straight. It takes about 2 or 3 strokes for my hair to get smooth, shiny and straight. It curls really well too. I don't usually beauty products off the internet due to past issues. However, I have to say this is the best "styling tool" I have ever owned. The plates are smooth and easy to clean, and does not tug on my hair when using it. The only negative thing I have to say about it is it doesn't stand up straight. I have to balance it in order for it not to be face down on my counter and burn anything underneath. It's kind of annoying, but the pro's outweigh this little con. Highly recommend ! -Olivia
Great for thick hair!
This straightener to great for thick hair and it does not take long to heat up nor to do your hair. I don't have a lot of time in the morning to spend on my hair...this is works for me! I also like that you can lock the blades together and it has a automatic shut off (mainly for my daughter..lol) I only had it for about a month now, no complaints.
ONE STROKE!!!!!
I AM SMITTEN WITH THIS FLAT IRON!!!! The other flat irons I have bought does not compare. It takes only one stroke, and the hair is straight. On top of that, the frizz control is fabulous!!! I will only go to a stylist for special occasions...... But then again, maybe not!!!!!

****UPDATE****<br />The one that I had was defective which is why it was not working that well. Since then, the company sent me a new one and it works PERFECTLY! It gets hot for sure and it also works great with the settings between 410-450. I'm very happy with the customer service from the company as well as the product itself. This is a great straightener!<br /><br />I had higher hopes for this. First off, it does not get hot enough. The temperature gauge cannot be set correctly from 410-450. nothing in between that works for me it's either 410 or 450 I can't do 425 or 445 nothing. My hairdresser friend told me to try to set it lower than 450 which might maximize the heat but it does not. The quality is good on it...it's sturdy and it comes with a lot of helpful tools. But the not getting hot enough bothers me. I had a crappy $25 one that got hotter than this $70 one.
