Great alternative to more expensive liquid latex for use with manicures!
I decided to try this, instead of way more expensive options, to prevent the skin around the cuticle from getting nail polish all over when I’m applying it with a sponge. I just filled an empty polish bottle using a tiny funnel, and I was all set! It intentionally dries quickly, so have everything ready in front of you before you start. Clean up is super easy, because you just have to let it dry and then peel it right off.
great for nail art
I use this around my nails for easy clean up and it works wonderfully for that purpose. I tested out the drying time and how easily it peels by applying the latex over the joint of my index finger running an inch long and the width of my finger. After about 3 minutes the latex didn't transfer onto my other finger when I touched it, but it did feel like it was still a little wet - I'm not sure if that's how liquid latex generally feels as this is my first time using it. It peeled off in one big strip with ease. I couldn't be happier with this product. It's $8 for 4 ounces, meanwhile if you bought liquid latex marketed for nails you'd get half an ounce and it would still cost more than this entire jar.
