I do nails quite often....usually fancy or cute designs; minions are one of my favorites to do. This set is exactly what a girl (or boy, lol) needs to complete nail artwork!!!! This set has been one of my better nail art investments.<br /><br />What do I love about it? For one, it comes in a handy storage case which makes it hard to lose all the brushes and nail dotters. Plus there is a see through vinyl flap that covers them too. It unrolls three times after you unsnap the buttons and spreads your array of brushes and dotting tools. You end up with a total of 14 brushes that range from fan brushes to fine tipped brushes. There are five double-ended dotters and no, they aren't all the same size. I think a few are. There is also a dotting pen with just one small dot which you could use for line work if the brushes are too hard for you. The entire set is compact and portable.<br /><br />As for cleaning them....I've had no issue with mine. I cleaned the polish of with nail polish remover, wiped that off, then washed it with dish soap and let dry. One of my brushes became a little stiff but all I did was run my finger across it a few times and smooshed it on my table. The bristled softened right back up.<br /><br />I will be using this set A LOT! I've included pics of the set and the nails I did for my daughter and niece (before the edges were cleaned up though). did receive this set at a discounted price in exchange for an honest opinion. Great nail brush set!
I have two daughter's ages 4 and 14. My oldest loves to do her little sister's nails as she loves to get her nails done. I tried the brushes on my toes and my mom's toes for forth of July and did an American flag on our large toes and they worked so well. Now keep in mind I need practice, but with this set it will be easy to do. We got a ton of complements on them. This set is great for beginners just learning to do nail art and designs. I want to settle down a little bit and would love to learn how to do my nails instead of paying a fortune to get them done. This set comes with 20 pieces, which includes 15 brushes and 5 dotting pens. Comes in a nice violet case trimmed in pink. The only thing that I had to do was one of the tips fell off but I just had to glue it back on and it worked well. This would be a great set for a gift or for someone who travels a bunch and that it can be put in your luggage. I would suggest washing them with dish soap or shampoo. I wanted this set because I knew it came with the pieces that could be used for stones and jewelry application. In looking at the manufacturing quality of the bag everything comes in, it is just a small vinyl plastic bag that is nothing very fancy. But the stitching on it was well-done and the two buttons used to hold it closed worked very nicely. I particularly like that it had a plastic cover go over the tops of the brushes to protect them.<br /><br />My only issue was that the tops of the brush heads were not attached to the rest of the brush very well. Without very much pressure, I pulled on the tops of the brushes and they detached from the rest of the brush very easily. I thought maybe this was perhaps just the one brush that I chose, so I picked another one randomly to do the same test. It too came apart very easily. I believe if the manufacturer could add a stronger adhesive to prevent them coming apart, that would definitely help with quality.<br /><br />Overall I feel it's a very nicely made set with many options. When my daughter and I tried out the brushes, we found that they tell very good in the hand and performed nicely. They were also relatively easy to clean and after drying kept their shape. We also tried the accessory attaching pieces. It was super nice to have different options of sizes as we had to go through a couple until we found one that would work with the size of this jewels we wanted to add to the nails.<br /><br />I'm very happy with the set and will probably be using some hot glue or superglue to reattach the paintbrush heads that came off when I pulled them.<br />I receive this product at a discount in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.
Super fun set
I got this 20 piece nail art painting kit for my teen daughter, who loves doing all sorts of fun things to her nails. So far she has really enjoyed this set. She has done her own and all of her sisters nails several times. There is a large variety of tools for her to experiment with. She really likes watching videos and then trying to do similar things. I love that it came with a convenient fold up case to store them all in, no more finding pieces all over the place. The smaller tools have a nice grip to them. It is a great set to get the fancy salon style nails at home.<br /><br />My only complaint is that one fan brush did arrive separated from the stick. The seller was quick to respond and said they would send a replacement piece, they indeed sent me two right away. The brush was also easy to fix with a dab of glue so now I have a back-up.<br /><br />Overall I think this is a nice set, It has a variety of tools for doing all different kinds of nail art all in one kit. I would recommend it for anyone in the market for nail art tools.
