Actual magnetic lashes
I'd ordered another inexpensive set that claimed to be magnetic, only to be the normal sort of false eyelashes that I cannot use due to an adhesive allergy. Once I received my refund, I ordered this set. It's exactly what it claims to be, and you might even get a bonus in your package like I did.
Magnetic magic !!!
MAGNETIC MAGIC!!! Love these magnet lashes. They attach so easily and quickly. Love the magnetic eyeliner that it comes with it. Stays on all night! Super cute and fluffy lashes with a soft comfortable band.
Nice quality
These lashes have multiple magnets, and since my eyes are small I usually have to trim the lashes, but it still leaves me with several magnets. Providing a nice base to adhere to the liner. . THe liner does not irritate my eyes. Great help for this lady without much lashes. Thank you
Good if you like eyeliner
These are just okay. They look really nice and are attractive lashes, but you have to put on so much eyeliner to get them to stay on that you end up looking ridiculous. I trimmed the lashes to make them shorter so as to take up less room on my eye so I didn't have to do such dark liner all the way across and it still looks ridiculous. Then, once you've put them on, you can't move them around or else the liner starts to come off! I also can't figure out how to get them to lay on my lashes so it looks like I have two sets of lashes on. These are likely for someone with way more magnetic lash experience than I have. I wouldn't recommend to beginners or people who don't like bold liner.
I am pleasantly surprised!
I've never used magnetic lashes before, but was very intrigued! These magnetic lashes + the eyeliner are STRONG! I've attached photos of the lashes after wearing them for 10 hours at my workplace. The magnetic lashes and the liner are so strong in fact, that I actually ripped out a lash because I accidentally had the magnetic liner on my lash!<br /><br />I'm very impressed by how well it stuck onto my eye throughout the day. I am also VERY surprised of the formula of the eyeliner. I have tried many, many waterproof, smudgeproof eyeliners, but this eyeliner is by far THE MOST waterproof and smudgeproof! I have oily eyelids and my original waterproof eyeliner would still smear on my lower lids (I bought a waterproof Missha eyeliner for $27 and it still smudges!)<br /><br />Not only that, the liner will also remove very easily with micellar water or makeup removing face wash -- it washes off so clean that I don't have to follow up with another makeup wipe after the shower. This is amazing!<br /><br />I only really took off 1 star for three reasons:<br />1) The formula of the eyeliner has a scent that is very perfume-y/chemical-y. This doesn't bother me too much, but I do think that some customers may be bothered by it.<br />2) The brush of the eyeliner is very flimsy -- it is difficult to get a sharp line, because the brush is so thin.<br />3) the inner corners of my lashes began to curl up and off my lash line, pulling some eyeliner with it (leaving gaps in my liner).<br /><br />Overall, I really like this small kit! It is VERY easy to apply and the lashes look so natural! I got very many compliments while wearing these!
May work for you depending on eye shape
Magnetic eyelashes are an interesting concept for those times you want a dramatic look but don't want the hassle of glue on lashes. The magnetic liner works well but it must be applied pretty thick in order to give enough area for the lashes to stick. You have to be careful when placing them also as you cannot really adjust the position because pulling the lashes off usually tears the liner off with it, so you have to then clean the lashes and reapply liner if you make a mistake which is kind of a hassle. The two lashes included here are nice but neither one really worked for my eye shape, I got another kit which had 7 different shapes in it and that one had two styles that work well for me so I would probably recommend getting one with more options to ensure you find one that fits your eye shape.
