I'm purchased it to hold my watercolor brushes when I travel and plen air paint or urban sketch. I measured my brushes before I bought it to make sure the longest one would fit and it does. The material is waterproof and wipeable so I don't have to worry if my brushes are not fully dry when I pack up. It's so great that I use it at home and my brushes live in there all the time. It's perfect!!!
