First, I'll say this: this is a beautiful set of brushes, and I absolutely love them. It was like Christmas morning, opening this package! However, the largest brush got incorrectly placed in the packaging at the manufacturing/assembly point (see photo), and the bristles on that side are now misshapen. Obviously, that will affect the performance of the brush, and I'm not going to mess with washing it and trying to reshape the bristles (which probably won't work anyway). So I ordered another set, and the first defective one will be returned. Hopefully, the second one will be better. I docked a star for this, but if the second one comes in better shape, and the brushes hold up long-term (or don't), I may change my rating.<br /><br />EDIT: Ordered a second one, but waited to send back the first one. So glad I did. The replacement was in worse shape than the first, with THREE brushes shifted out of place and potentially crimped in the same way (see photo). So I didn't even open it, I just sent the second one back. More care needs to be taken by the seller and manufacturer. If you don't mind dealing with this type of hassle, try them. I'm hoping that my large brush's shape self-corrects after I wash it for the first time.
