Little blue brushes (and combs) that do the trick, and look nice.

The bristles are quite soft. I received 6 brushes and two different combs (for eyebrows). Overall, it's a really nice starter, or replacement set. They are quite small as far as height go, so if you're looking for lengthy brushes (think flapper cigarette holders), these aren't for you. The color is an exact match to the picture and overall, I am quite pleased.
