This product was well beyond my expectations. It provides a true holographic glow in the strobe locations on my face, even though it looks very plain in the pan. It is not glittery at all and is so beautiful that it doesn't need to be. It can be used with a light hand for day use and a heavier hand for an awesome evening holographic glow. It has face brightening white and lavender pearly glow, with barely visible green and pink contrast in variant light (I would say the color tones are not obvious without the scrutiny of a trained eye.) IMHO this is the perfect fairy dust glow, without being over the top for day and office wear, if applied lightly, of course. I receive many compliments about my 50+ year old complexion being so radiant and pleasant to admire. It often seems like people notice a glow without really knowing it's due in large part to a make up product. It's also serves alone as a GORGEOUS eye shadow when used on the brow bone or the entire eye. Lastly, I would encourage experimenting with it's use highlighting lip color, or applying it to lips followed by a clear gloss for stand out evening looks.
