Colored natural, kinky hair
I have bleached and colored natural, kinky hair. This is the first time I've ever colored my hair and I made sure to do my research on colored hair care, which includes protein treatments. Well, months had gone by and I still hadn't done a protein treatment. Madness, right? Eventually, the dyed parts (especially the ends) started to feel rough and dry.The ends were also knotting like crazy! I remembered a YouTube video I watched about hydrolyzed wheat protein. I ordered that and a pair of hair shears (prepared to do some clipping, which I had also been neglecting). I heard that you should expect to see results after the first use, but I was blown away! First, I cleansed my hair with shampoo. I didn't measure how much of the treatment I used but I mixed it in with my regular, wash out conditioner. After coating my hair in it, I covered my hair with a plastic cap then sat with my conditioning heat cap on my head for about 15 minutes.<br /> My hair in general, not only the dyed area, feels softer and the colored ends feel smooth and manageable again. Also, waaaaay less knotting. After washing my hair, I put it in twists to dry. 2 days later I pulled out the twists to get a lovely, voluminous twist-out. Unfortunately, I didn't get the shears but Amazon promptly refunded me and I plan to reorder them shortly. I'm ashamed to say its been months since my ends have been clipped (which just compounded the problem) and I plan to use my protein treatment around once a month and trim when needed.

Great body and shine for my hair
This was my first time trying this protein from this company. It mixed very well and my hair does have shine, body, and feels soft. I will come back after 2 weeks and give another review. But for now, this is really good and my hair loves it.
