Beautiful, and big enough to securely hold larger shawls
I like large, thick, warm shawls and this pin is large enough to hold them securely in place without overwhelming them. Because these pins are made from horn, obviously each piece is somewhat different from the one shown here. But mine has the same amber and cream coloration with small vertical striations, and I personally like mine even more than the one pictured here. Both the owl and the pin are beautifully crafted and I couldn't be happier.
