I can breath.

These are great! After wearing a mask all day, my nose feels the pressure and these definitely help relieve that. It’s also much easier to breath in them. I don’t wear glasses but I do notice my sunglasses don’t fog up which is definitely a nice feature.

Keeps mask away from lips! Other significant advantages, too.

Based on my background, I started wearing masks early in the pandemic. While I had passion around doing so, I hated them rubbing against my lips: annoying feel, when got damp and adhered to my lips was hard to breathe in (not a fantasy as I'd presumed), and made me sound like I was mumbling. I don't wear lipstick but if I did it would be another big problem. Bought a rigid black plastic respirator-style device; sealed well and stayed away from lips but it was heavy and looked very industrial. Kept looking and finally found these. In my mind, pretty much perfect. Acts like a frame, negligible weight, does not add to sensation of wearing a mask, invisible behind the mask, cleanable, and packet of 10 for only a few dollars. Have been showing them to my friends, family, and even some store employees.

Works...sort of

The reason for ordering: I ordered this bracket because I hate going out for a walk at night and not seeing if I'm going to walk off into the canal because I can't see out of my foggy glasses. The test: I tried it out tonight...and it sort of worked. I taped it to my cloth mask using gaffen tape (https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00GZE3UJ8/) which worked fine. My glasses did not fog when I exhaled. Flipping the mask upside down so the nose bridge part is at my chin would lead to foggy glasses. HOWEVER, the mask had to be in the right position, or else my glasses would fog. I want a mask that I can just put on and forget about it and it works properly. After the walk, I took off the bracket and hand washed it - because I noticed there was some condensation on it. On my second day trying it out, I wore a mask with ties on the back (not the elastic bands that most throw away masks ues), so it normally has a tighter fit without the bracket. With the bracket, the seal was mostly maintained - there were little gaps again by my alae, though I could tape it closed or I might be able to manipulate the mask to be able to close the gaps. It definitely improved my breathing - because I'm using a microfiber cloth that is tight against my face, it's extremely hard to breathe out of. With this bracket, I was able to breathe. There was still a little bit of fog, but I was able to walk the whole walk without feeling like suffocating. So I raised my rating by one star. It was still damp from the moisture from my breathing and kinda gross when taking off the mask at the end of my mask - if you're wearing your mask ALL day...you would definitely need to have some material to wedge the bracket between to prevent moisture build-up. Things to consider: This might have better results if you aren't constantly taking on-and-off your mask as I do when I'm drinking out of my mug or no one is around. Another point to consider is the nose bridge. I have a flatter nose. For me, there are gaps on the sides of my nose (or alae). ALSO, this bracket does not form a perfect seal around your mouth if that is what you were hoping for. I am able to talk with the bracket on and open my mouth completely without dislodging the mask.
