Underrated gem?
Got exposed to this one at the mall today...the sales lady came right out with it and IT SLAPS. A lot of the standard fragrances don't sit too well (Sauvage, etc), but there are some classics that do work on me--Adidas Moves, Shiseido Zen Men, Yves Saint Laurent, Gucci Guilty, Prada Luna Rossa (I have the limited edition "Extreme" with the all black w/ red stripe bottle from 2016).<br /><br />I was wearing "Moves" when I came to kiosk, so I didn't put Ocean Noir on my body, but the test strip was like "YOOOOOO! this is very unique!" it excited me like Shiseido Zen did 10 years ago. Makes "Moves" smell very cheap by comparison, as solid as it is.<br /><br />It was a little sweet, a tad citrus, and very masculine. Very daytime and I connected with it immediately. I ended up getting a good deal on this one, paid $69 at the mall kiosk with the gorgeous Jewish woman maybe 5 years younger than me. She actually looked Russian or Ukrainian.<br /><br />EDIT!<br /><br />Got a chance to try this out for an evening adventure....absolutely stunning as a night fragrance too. Even BETTER actually, because the middle notes jump right out like you've been wearing it longer than you actually have been and it projects for a good long while. I have to go ahead and call this one my new overall summertime favorite. Whatever my physiology is, this stuff compliments it VERY well. It's aquatic, sweet, and romantic. This kills my Tommy Bahama on the summer game--and again--makes "Moves" seem very cheap.
