No hair pulling
I hate using rubber bands on hair, because they typically pull the hair out once taken out. To my surprise, when I pulled it out, there was no hair. The rubber bands are thicker. They have stretch to them, but not to the point where they break easily. The colors are light, more pastels. They come in a little carrying case, divided with black in one bag, and colors in another. Def love them.
Excellent little hair ties!
I have curly hair that I like to braid every night for bed, so I go through a lot of these. But these are the best ones I've used! First of all, there are SO MANY! If I used one every day and threw it away (which I don't), it would take me years to go through them all. They are thick and don't stretch out or break easily, which was a problem with the ones I was using before. But you can get multiple uses out of every hair tie. They're also bigger than the normal ones that you see, about the size of a quarter, which is why I included that picture. But I like that, I can go around my braid multiple times for security, and they also work great for putting your hair half up. I love the variety of colors, they're all pretty pastels + black. And of course they come in a super convenient case to keep everything organized. I don't think I'll need to buy these again any time soon (because there are so many and they're so durable) but when that day comes I'll be coming back to these.

*Note: This product received in exchange for an honest review*<br /><br />A plethora of hairbands...so, so many hairbands. I love the colors, and love not having to look for a hairband when I need one. The bags holding them are perfect to keep all the bands, too. The important bit -- the bands are smooth, stretchy, and don't get stuck in hair! I did pick the 'thickened' version, and the bands were definitely nicely sturdy. I didn't feel like I was going to snap them when I stretched them. It's really a great price for a pack of 500 bands as well.

I can see why some of the other reviews might disagree that these are not good quality but you have to consider that they're literally rubber bands. These elastics are absolutely adorable for both kids and adults alike. For the price you really can't beat how many you get AND the pouches they come in. Oh that poor bird, I love him! I tried to show in my second picture just how far you can stretch these until they may snap or lose shape. I think these elastics would be better suited for someone with fine hair or just smaller sections. They're certainly disposable which is something you should keep in mind. Please try to cut them before throwing them out too to be earth friendly.
