Great product and awesome company!
It DOES hide scars!!! and it did take me a bit of time to get use to it.... But once you get it, it's great stuff. This company went above and beyond to help me. Sister Dreams really cares about their customers, and I'm so happy I found this/them!! Thank you so much!!! just a tip, make sure you read their tips on applying mirage on the sisterdreams website.. and allow enough drying time;)
Very impressed! Highly recommend for deep scars
I have a huge (not exaggerating) ice pick scar on the front of my nose that was totally impossible to camouflage. After watching the Youtube video on how to apply it, it worked like nothing I have ever seen! It is very moist and fills the "hole", so I pat it in and then wipe the excess away. It dries pretty slowly so I do this a few times while I am getting ready for work, but if I am in a hurry I use a hair dryer. It dries clear but blends into my skin tone as if it wasn't there, and all you see is a smooth surface (like dried glue). I dab a tiny bit of concealer or a little powder on it before I leave and it stays in place all day.<br />When I take my makeup off at night, sometimes I have to remove the filler with tweezers because it is so embedded into my scar, but it is soft and easy to do. It has the consistency of gum or putty, and does not hurt to remove.<br />I was a little bit apprehensive about buying such an expensive concealer, and admit I haven't tried any of the other products out there to compare, but this really does the job. I am a regular Amazon customer, and was not asked (or otherwise coerced) into writing this review- I simply want to share my experience so others won't be discouraged by the price. It is worth it!
It is not bad, but it is to me
This stuff has been such a MIRACLE for me personally. When I was younger, I fell off my bicycle, onto a gravel road. The result was a small indented scar on the side of my eye. It is not bad, but it is to me. I have tried EVERYTHING, from dermaflauge, to make ups. Dermaflauge worked ok, but the color was never my skin tone, and hard to work with, as well as the cost was expensive to "play" with just so I could get the hang of it. But...Mirage has been my go to filler!!! It only takes a little( for me) and is easy to work with. I know it's for acne, but this stuff has worked for my scar as well. I put my make up on then Mirage. Let it dry, and just put a small whisp of powder lightly over it with a soft powder brush. Looks so natural and I am hooked!!! Love Love LOVE this product!!!!
Good idea
Great concept but did not work for my needs. This is best applied to areas of the face that don't have much movement. tried on outer eyelid and did not work well and made skin look more crepey. Would use this if my concerns were in a different area.
