Amazingly tough and durable towels!
Wiped down my dusty motorcycle with just one towel.
Very convenient for the car or travel.
The small packages these come in are super convenient to put in your car door pocket or toss in a bag for traveling.<br /><br />I don't think anyone that orders these actually waits for an actual use to open the first one, I had one out of the package almost immediately.<br /><br />I was a bit surprised by the size of it after it "decompressed"...is as big (and slightly wider) as a letter size sheet of paper and considerably thicker than you would have guessed. Clean up after you change a tire, wipe down after a run....in addition to dozens of uses around the house, cabin or hotel room.<br /><br />I will continue to purchase these as I run out.
Love these towels!
I do quite a bit of backpacking and canoe camping.<br />I always bring a few of these compact towels with me on my trips.<br />They take up very little space in my pack and weigh next to nothing.<br />However, when you add a tablespoon or so of water to one, it puffs out, unrolls, and you have a fully functional washcloth for cleaning yourself, your gear, doing the dishes, etc.<br />They are durable enough that you will get multiple uses out of each one. I have even washed one in my machine at home and reused it.<br />They are made of cotton, I think, so they are biodegradable. I don't recommend burying them in a cat hole or anything though, as they won't break down fast enough to allow that. I have used them as a TP substitute once or twice, and they are awesome for that, but I always burn them or pack them out afterwards.<br />I really like these towels.<br />They are an excellent value for the money.<br />Perfect for traveling, backpacking, camping, etc.<br />Highly recommended.
I was sent the wrong product but the towels I got are nice
I was expecting to receive 60 disposable travel towels, instead I was sent a box of 100 pure cotton disposable face towels. I received this item at no cost so although it wasn't what I expected what I received is very nice although not portable. The box is slightly smaller than a rectangular tissue box and dispenses through a small slot at the top similarly to tissues. The cloths are dry and can be used wet or dry. They are very soft with a dimpled texture on one side and smooth on the other. They are actually pretty strong. I could not pull them apart although I could tear them if wanted. They are great for make up removal or for softly wiping clean little hands and faces. I usually use washcloths but these are nice for when there's more dirt/make up that could stain my washcloths or things like stubborn eye makeup where I like to use an oil based make up remover. I tear the disposable towel into quarters which is just the right size for this application.<br /><br />Although what I received wasn't what I was expecting the towels I did receive are nice and if they are any indication of the quality of the travel towels then they are likely also a good product.
Perfect for camping or staying some place without linens (like a hostel or friend's apartment)
These compress very small - amazingly so. When they are "rehydrated" they plump up into what feels like a thick cotton version of a paper towel. They don't feel as thick as a regular face cloth, but they are much more durable than a paper towel. Definitely good enough in a pinch, but not something you'd probably want to use daily at home.<br /><br />I do notice an unpleasant smell when I first open and rehydrate these, but rinsing and squeezing dry a couple times seems to get rid of the smell. I've put a few of these capsules in my camping gear, my backpack, and my glovebox - they are handy for al kinds of things from personal hygiene to cleaning up spills or wiping down surfaces.
