These are a good deal for the money. I have long thick hair and I needed quite a few clips to help me in my home dying experiments.. These are perfect. They hold alot of hair and it doenst slip out. The springs are strong but not too hard for me to open with one hand. great set of hair clips--flexible hold and durable for styling
I LOVE these!! I have recently gotten into dyeing my hair crazy unicorn colors and I've gotten sick of ruining my really expensive hair clips with all of the permanent dyes. So I decided to invest in this 6-piece set of clips since I've seen my hair stylist use these when she is separating my hair into different pieces.<br /><br />Anyway, I have really long and thick hair. So when I'm dyeing my hair, which I do at home, I really need to section the hair pieces off to make sure I get all of the strands saturated with color. Otherwise, well, I'm not really into striped hair at the moment and uneven dye jobs that LOOK like I did it myself at home after drinking too much wine ;)<br /><br />I got the RED color because I have purple hair and wanted the clips to stand out. I do not plan to wear these out of the house--they are only for my styling needs at home. Otherwise, I would recommend getting a darker color because the plastic isn't super nice or stylish looking. I like that these clips open easily and don't have a super strong grip. Some of my clips are way too tight and I end up pulling my hair out or getting my hair stuck in the coils. I like the more flexible feel of these and that they have more give, so I can move them around. Even though they are flexible, they still hold the hair in place, but just do it less harshly, if that makes sense.<br /><br />I like the set of 6 because I tend to lose track of my clips and so this way, I will have a nice sized supply and won't always be running around my house searching for clips.<br /><br />I was able to purchase this item at a discount in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.
