Amazing Mattes! So Pigmented, Soft, and Smooth!

This comes bubble wrapped nicely. The palette is sealed with plastic wrapper. There’s a cardboard sleeve that looks just like the palette on the front and back. The ingredients are listed on the back, which includes talc and mica. There’s a cruelty free logo (leaping bunny, and the brand MS Glamour can be found on the leaping bunny website).<br /><br />The palette is cardboard and has magnetic closure. There’s a protective plastic sheet over the eyeshadows. There’s no mirror. There are shade names below each shade.<br /><br />There’s 35 shades - 20 matte, 6 shimmer, 3 sequin (matte with glitter in it), and 6 pressed glitters.<br /><br />I did finger swatches on my clean forearm (no primer, lotion, etc.). I labeled how many swipes (layers) for each shade.<br />I didn’t swatch the pressed glitters because I hate pressed glitters! They just get everywhere! Even when you don’t use them, they still creep into the other shadows and contaminate them! So I just put a piece of tape over the pans with pressed glitters in them and pretend they aren’t there 😂<br /><br />The matte shades really surprised me! They were all amazing! So soft and smooth, really pigmented! There was only 1 in the first row that needed 3 swipes (layers), and then some of the pastels on the third row needed 2 swipes, but those were still really pigmented for pastel shades and built up really well! The shimmer shades were soft, smooth, and pigmented. They weren’t in your face shimmery but they had a slight sheen and looked better when wet. The mattes are definitely where this palette shines, which is good because it’s mostly mattes! The sequin shades are mattes with really tiny pieces of glitter in them. You can’t hardly see them when swatched. So, like most sequin shades, my guess is you could use it like a matte and when you start to blend it, the little pieces of glitter will just fall away, but you could pack it on and/or use it wet, to keep the glitter. When I put my finger in the sequin shades to swatch them, they were all really soft, where I got a lot of kickback in the pan. But, the sequin shade in the third row was different. It felt grittier and didn’t give any kickback, and took 3 swipes to get the swatch you see. I’m not sure why that one was so different.<br /><br />Overall, this palette was really surprising! I wasn’t expecting it to be so great! The matte shades are definitely where this palette shines! They are so soft and smooth and pigmented! They aren’t patchy at all! They are easy to blend. I’m really happy with this palette! If you’re looking for some amazing colorful mattes, you should grab this palette!
