Saves me time
This tool makes it much easier to get clean straight beard lines. Once you get a hang of how much pressure to hold the tool against your face you get a better result. Too much pressure and the edge will press into your cheek - too little pressure and the tool will move while you use it. I used it a few times so far and each time I use it I am getting better at having a clean sharp line. I like that you can do a rounded line or straight line. I was never able to get a perfectly even line shaping it by hand. This has saved me a lot of time and aggravation shaping my beard. Before this I was spending too much time comparing sides and re trimming to get everything even and eventually causing skin irritation. Overall a great product and I would recommend it!
Great for clean lines on the face, not so great for the neck
This product is really great for shaping your beard on the face. It's easy to line up and get a very clean beard line on your cheeks. Switching to the other side also allows a nice even looking beard.<br /><br />It's not so great on the the neck. I tried holding the shaper in every possible way on both sides of my neck and I could not find a line that liked for my neck. It ended up being easier and neater to just follow my existing beard line on the neck.
