Nailbiter for 20+ years
I don't know what it is about this product. It hasn't gotten me to stop biting totally (in fact, I actually find that I pick my cuticles a little bit more, though maybe that's just stress), but my nails are the healthiest and best they've looked in about twenty years even with some picking. I have certain nails that have been especially awful (if you are a nailbiter, you know what I mean - the ones you have kept hidden from people for so long that it's something you do subconsciously) and while the treatment hasn't totally fixed these problems (IDK if there is ever going to be a fix for the damage I've done, sadly), they do make them look passable which feels great. The product doesn't have a particularly bad taste, and while there is a noticeable smell I wouldn't say that it's so bad that that's why I bite less, but there is something about this product that gets me to stop. I had first purchased my bottle at a Walmart and used it to the last drop - not wanting to go into a store at the moment, I'm glad I can find it here and will continue to use it.<br /><br />If you're like me, you've read fifteen similar reviews for fifteen different products, ordered them all, and had no success. I'm here to tell you that there's hope for you, and for me, it started with this.
Life Long Nail Biter Cured!
This product does exactly what it says! I have bitten my nails since I can remember and have tried every tick there is. This stuff works wonders! Itโs smell is actually what keeps you from putting your hands in your mouth. Itโs STRONG peppery smell is very powerful at first but does tone down after a day or so. Itโs not unbearable but itโs definitely strong. This picture is about 4 days in and I still refuse to bite my nails! I even used it on my 8 year old daughter who is a worse nail biter than me. I bought mine at my local Walmart though.

Cured my lifelong nail biting because it smells bad when you put your nails by your face. I am so thankful for this product! My nails are no longer gross and bitten! It also works well as a top coat.
Smells horrible, but works well!
This smells absolutely terrible! It is definitely working though because I'm keeping my hands far away from my face. The smell makes me a bit nauseous, so I have absolutely no desire to bite my nails. I will update again in a few weeks to share any updates.
It Works!
Bought to use on my 10yo nail biter. It works! The smell is the deterrent. He stopped biting the same day. After 3 days his nails and nail beds look amazing. Heโs so happy with results as he was embarrassed when caught biting around his friends. Highly recommend.
The BEST Product of Its Kind!!!
This picture does not do the product justice; but IT WORKS! (I have to file away all my nail growth because theyโre so brittle from years of damage but Iโm seeing growth every week!) It doesnโt have a bitter taste that other products have, which made it hard to eat finger food. Itโs simply something about the smell which itself isnโt all that unpleasant. It must just trigger some instinctual harm avoidance mechanism or something because itโs like magic! I havenโt bitten my nails in 6 weeks after 30+ years with the habit!
