Effective for IC bladder
This product has helped me greatly with my IC (Interstitial Cystitis). I had taken another product (with the initials CR) for over a year, and only seen a minor difference, if any. Within a month of being on CystoProtek I noticed a major improvement in my symptoms, and then started feeling "normal" several days a month. My IC is not gone, but it is well under control. Sometimes I can "cheat" in terms of eating and drinking certain things, but I'm not going overboard in that department. Also, I am using this after having done other therapies (pelvic physical therapy, diazepam supposities, etc., which were helpful although I am no longer doing them), and seeing multiple specialists. Since IC can be multi-factorial, involving the bladder, pelvic and ab muscles, and nerves, it can be complicated to treat, and in my case, no single treatment provided a solution. In other words, I don't know if Cysto Protek would work on its own, with no other treatment. Even now, when I start to flare, I use a prescription urinary medication called Urogesic Blue, which calms down my bladder effectively. For day to day management of IC, Cysto Protek is an indispensable part of my regime, and I am grateful that the IC Network has information about this supplement on its website.
