Lossing less hair!
I lose less hair when detangling as opposed to a plastic comb. I am black and I have textured hair that goes down below my shoulder blades. I use the fine tooth comb on my daughter who has fine hair and there is no static electricity that I would get from a plastic comb and her hair does not snap when I hit an tangle. I uses these combs on wet and dry hair and I have not noticed a smell. They are very pretty and have a nice weight to them.
