This is lightly scented but actually did not irritate or burn my skin at all. Makes me skin feel supple and moisturized. I love this around my eyes and the perimeter of my face where it feels dry.<br />A lot of ingredients, but good ones. This is the good slimey stuff!
I looooove this cica snail essence! Iโve used over 15 different kinds of snail products, and this is the most soothing and moisturizing one Iโve ever used. Another reviewer said it is heavily fragranced, but I completely disagree. It has a very LIGHT sweet scent. I generally dislike fragrance in products, but this smells so good that I wish it lasted longer. I canโt put my finger on what it is exactly, but itโs very pleasant. I also love the cute light purple and pink design of the bottle. The pump and bottle is also very good quality. I usually take about 2 pumps for my entire face. It never dispenses too much so I donโt feel like Iโm wasting any product. Itโs very thick and slimy thanks to the high mucin content, and is easy to spread on my skin. I pat it in with my hands after toner, and it makes me skin soooo soft and plump. It is the perfect product to use before any actives because it contains cica and helps soothe and calm skin. The niacinamide also helps to brighten my skin tone. I have oily combo skin but this delivers the perfect amount of moisture, so I donโt ever feel greasy or too shiny. I highly recommend this essence!
Why did I stop
Snail essence was so big a couple years ago and for good reason. My skin loved this stuff but going with the skin trend, more exciting products came up and I stopped using snail essence. I am so glad I started using this again. Instant difference to my skin. NEOGEN is a trusted brand for me. I currently use their exfoliating pads which is also five stars in my book.
Easy to use
I have heard of the benefits that snail Mucus has when used in skincare and have been wanting to give it a try for some time but jus never pulled the plug. So when I had the opportunity to try out this Neogenlab snail mucus essence I jumped on it.<br /><br />So far so good. Itโs definitely not the consistency that you would think it would be for something that contains a lot of snail mucus, itโs actually quite light and thin. Itโs not mucus like or sticky at all and absorbs into your skin quite easily.<br /><br />As far as results go, I have not seen any significant difference in my skin. It does feel nice and does not feel tacky or sticky, plus it dries down pretty fast. I have not had any trouble with using it under makeup or along with other skin care either. Overall Itโs a pretty decent essence!
