The best braiding hair I've ever used. Will buy again and again!
Like the previous reviewer, I also bought this hair based on a Youtuber's (teeday6) recommendation. The hair looked absolutely gorgeous in her videos, in both a loose crochet style and box braids style. I wasn't expecting much to be quite honest, because these things look great on camera but can be a hit or miss when you buy them yourself to try.<br /><br />My order shipped quickly and I received it within a few days. The packs are very small, and I was initially worried that it wasn't enough hair for the style I wanted - mini Senegalese twists. Boy was I wrong. This hair is deceptive in that it looks like a small amount, but the actual fibers are very thick so you don't need a lot of a full head. I have a big head, so I ended up using 3 packs. A medium/small head can probably get away with using 2 packs depending on the fullness you're aiming for.<br /><br />This is by far the best hair I've ever used for twists. Regular Kanekalon, "marley", afro kinky, and other braiding hair doesn't quite compare. The best thing about this hair is it's very lightweight. I've gotten twists before with hair from other brands and it was painfully heavy. Another huge plus is my uber sensitive scalp has been very happy with this hair so far. Absolutely no itching to complain about and the hair has been in for several days.<br /><br />The hair twisted easily and I didn't have to seal the ends in hot water because it has remained twisted. No knotting or tangling as I was separating the pieces. The texture and coarseness is a bit similar to the xpression brand of braiding hair, but this hair is much lighter and easier to comb through, so I think it would be perfect for loose crochet styles. Definitely an excellent quality, versatile product at a great price.
Very nice and very affordable hair
I like this hair so far. I tried it because I saw a video on YouTube featuring this hair. It doesn't shed much and it hasn't tangled up. I got 4 packs and i only used about 2 and a half packs. The shipping was decent. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I found it a little difficult to knot really tight for my crochet braids. Other than that I'm happy with my purchase.
