Easy way to make no heat curls

I've seen these used in YouTube videos and was curious to try them. There were no directions with them but it was easy enough to find how to videos. My hair is very long and I was able to get almost the whole length in them which was pleasantly surprising. All of the coils store nicely in the included bag. However, the long stick used to pull through the hair doesn't appear to disassemble, at least not easily. It is at least 2 feet long so not as convenient to store.<br /><br />I started with dry hair and used a spray bottle to dampen it before I pulled through each section. This seemed to work well and didn't take very long to dry and still have nice spiral shaped curls. The larger sections did not curl as tight. It did take a while to finish all of my hair but that could be due to how much hair I have. I was happy to find that I had some coils to spare so I could have done some smaller sections. I think if I'm looking for quick curls this probably won't replace my hot curlers but if I'm looking to set my curls in advance (even the night before as these could probably be slept on with a little arranging) I will turn to these curlers for a less damaging and very pretty shaped curl.
