Cheaper than a New Norelco
This battery is almost identical to the original, apart from the labeling. This is not a drop in replacement. You will need a soldering iron to remove the old battery and install this one. This new one does not label the positive or negative terminal, so you will also need a meter to determine which terminal is which. (If you're looking at this battery, you are probably old enough that you've already got a soldering iron and meter but if you don't go ahead and buy some cheap ones from Amazon while you're shopping. You'll find uses for them at least a couple of times a year.) Identifying the terminals and soldering in the new battery is simple. You'll need to charge it overnight. My old Norelco works like new again and I'm happy I took the time to repair it instead of tossing it in the trash.

Norelco Battery Replacement
I replaced the battery in my model 3605X, 14+ year old razor with this product. It has only been installed for about 3 weeks, but so far it performs flawlessly. All NiCd batteries loose their ability to recharge to full capacity over time, and my old battery would only stay charged enough to run the razor for about 3 hours. With the new battery, it works like it did when I bought it, with a full charge being held for a few days. However, you need to dispose of the old battery properly through recycling facilities, as it contains toxic cadmium.<br />Unless you specifically need this battery for a Norelco razor, you might consider a different Sub 4/5 C battery with tabs, which is essentially what this battery is; the markings on this product do not resemble the original battery that I removed from my razor anyway. Note that replacing the battery with this product likely voids the razor's warranty unless you are a qualified Norelco technician, and it is possible to break some tiny copper wires inside the razor during battery replacement, so do so at your own risk. You will also need a proper set of screw drivers, (3mm star bolt drivers in my case), and a soldering iron to replace the battery.

Perfect replacement battery for my Norelco shaver. This battery DOES provide the solder tabs at the ends of the battery so that you can easily remove and replace the battery. Make sure you have a soldering iron!
it save me purchasing another razor
I have been using my Noreco razor for the past 15 years and it still work except the original battery slowly aged. It is great I can find exactly the same model/type of battery and I can use this battery for another 10-15 years!
