Itching and Rash Caused by Vitamin D Deficiency
For my particular issue this product created marked itch relief and cleared scratch-rash cycle. Gradual onset of significant itching over whole body except hair and bottoms of feet. Saw the doctor twice and was given an antibiotic and steroid pills and cream.. Nothing worked, the steroid cream made it worse. Insisted on having blood tests, and despite taking D2 50,000 IU my Vit D was still very low. Switched myself to OTC D3 1000 IU w K2 120 mcg and purchased the D3 cream. Instantly upon applying the cream the itch subsided. Used all over body each day after morning shower, generally needing to use a 2nd time in a few areas on arms and legs later in the evening. This quite literally saved my sanity. I initially used about a tube a week for about 3 weeks. Now down to a tube approximately every 3 weeks.
If you struggle to absorb oral Vitamin D or if you don't like taking supplements
For years I've been Vitamin D deficient despite taking oral supplements. After three months of using this cream daily my blood work revealed that my Vitamin D level was well within the normal range! My research to find a non alcohol lotion for my psoriasis covered hands brought me to this vitamin D cream. I love it. Very soothing, thick, non oily and while it doesn’t cure my issue, this cream keeps my hands moisturized and soft. Game changer.
Great for my sensitive dry rashy skin
Love this lotion. I have extremely dry skin and this really helps.<br />Just be careful around dogs as it has xylitol that is dangerous for dogs (not that any lotion should be consumed by dogs).<br />It’s easy to absorb and a nice light smell. Works well on dry heels over night.
