I received this just in time to pack it for my vacation to Guam in April. I never used a wand before so it took some getting used to. I admit I burned my arms a few times during my first use as I was learning how to best handle and maneuver hair strands around the wand. I burned myself less the second time I used it, but no burns by the third time. While I preferred to not have gotten burned, I expected it since I wasn't used to handling the wand. What I love... The wand curls my hair stands quicker than other curling irons and it made fuller head of waves. The curls/waves it creates are gorgeous! I absolutely love this wand and so glad I got it.

Best hair purchase
This is the best hair tool I have ever bought! It cuts down drastically on the amount of time needed to curl my long naturally frizzy hair and the style lasts for ages. It's unbelievable.
Awesome Beach Waves
This is the ONLY curling iron worth my money. My naturally straight hair never holds a curl even with the hottest of irons and the best of products and over an hour of trying. I gave up on trying to have cute curled hair- it just took too long and wasn't worth the curls that only lasted 15 minutes. Enter this wand!! I love it. I have long hair but it still wraps all the way around in one try. It takes literally 2-3 seconds for each lock to curl vs the 30 I used to wait with a regular iron. I can curl it in the morning, still have curls in the evening, throw my hair in a bun to sleep and still have awesome beach waves the next day. I just touch up one or two spots the next morning. I've been getting tons of compliments on my hair and finally feel like I can look cute without spending forever on my hair. I love that it will give a nice tight curl at first if that is the look you want, or if I run my hands through, then I have beach waves. Usually my hair would never curl on the same day I wash it, but not the case anymore. I can use this as soon as my hair is dry and I use ZERO products with this.
Best curling wand I've ever owned!
This is my first Nume product and I love it! I have long, thick hair and a LOT of it...so it has always been hard to get my hair to curl, and stay curled.<br />I was able to curl my hair much quicker than with other wands/curling irons I've had in the past. Not to mention, it heated up within a matter of a couple of minutes.<br />I also like that it's reverse so you don't have to turn it upside down to curl your hair, it's much easier and goes a lot quicker this way. It does not come with a stand to rest on the counter, but the hot part does not touch the counter, so it is actually easier bc all you have to do is set it down and not worry about folding the stand out. The glove that comes with the wand is excellent and has prevented a lot of burns!<br />I absolutely love this wand and would recommend it to anyone!!
Love it!
I just got this for my birthday and I am in love with it. This wand takes so much time off of my usual curling routine. I have really long and medium-thick hair so it usually takes about an hour and a half to do my hair buttt with this wand including my beebopping around, it takes 45 minutes. I love the loose curls and the quickness of the heating process. I do however have a complaint.. uh oh, I feel that the handle seems a bit cheap for what you pay for but so far, it hasn't affected my views on the product. Also wish it had a heat stand so it doesn't burn the surface of your work area so just basic safety usage should be in affect while using the wand(:
