The only issue I had was that the program disc was unreadable in my computer. I simply downloaded the program from the web for free (except for my time) and used the validation codes from the package to activate it. The payroll disc reads OK but as others have said, after loading the new payroll program it won't work with an existing company without a call to Intuit customer service (ONLY during business hours) and a ridiculous amount of time on hold. (Almost an hour this year.)<br />My rating is for the seller. I use QuickBooks because I have to, not because I like it. The Intuit company writes mediocre software that works OK for accountants but is a PITA for the average business owner like me, and their customer service is particularly poor in my opinion. Regrettably there is very little competition in this market.

Super fast computer runs QuickBooks like slow legacy software
So I bought the software mainly for the 1-year payroll subscription which I do every year because it's cheaper to buy a new software package than to renew directly from Intuit. Saves me about $200, go figure? Regarding the 2018 version I wish this QuickBooks was optimized better. I have a 16GB DDR4 RAM computer with Ryzen chip and SSD so why does QuickBooks load and feel so slow. Everything else flies on this computer: I mean if it can game, it should be able to do accounting...
1/2 the price of stores.
Paid 1/2 the price.

Absolutely hate the forced 3 year purchase demand - but at least Amazon makes it more affordable.
