Imported Luxury Soap The Way I Remember It!

Traditionally, over 100 years ago, France was the capital for manufacturing fragrant soaps -- one French brand available up until recently was Le Chatelard Savon de Marseille, and that's been impossible to locate and purchase these past few months, at least in violet. During my own girlhood, 30-40 years ago, Germany was the place the best "toilet soaps" came from, from the brands Puhl's and Verly, now no longer in existence. By the 1990's, Portugal was the country manufacturing the best quality large luxury bars: Claus Porto and Castelbel still available with some diligent searching here on Amazon and in specialty stores. But it looks like Turkey is catching up with the fine soaps coming newly onto the market. I'd recently bought another Turkish brand of violet soap I like very much, but this Olivos brand Violet surpasses all; a sweeter but still satisfactory crisp, rich scent and smooth creamy lather like the finest goat's milk products (it's olive oil formula). Also this soap comes in gift boxes containing three round bars like the old imported Puhl's brand we used to buy in downtown Cleveland department stores, the soaps individually wrapped in violet-purple tissue paper just like Puhls, (and Verly's two-packs). It really brings back the good old days of beautiful quality imported cosmetics. I can't praise this product enough, especially for the nice reasonable price (we pay that much for one big hard-to-hold Portuguese bar which can cripple a person if dropped in the shower). I hope I can keep finding this and Beauty-Ways, a superlative seller, will continue to make this brand available.
