Great, Long-Lasting Product in Hard-To-Find Color
I've used Orange Ya Glad for about 2 years prior to this purchase. Been unable to find it in stores anymore, so I was excited to be able to buy again.<br /><br />This is not a brownish or reddish orange. Even when stores are well-stocked, it's almost impossible to find a true orange. And you can forget about a long-lasting orange. All the long-lasting colors tend to be deep reds or brownish. This orange is bright, but not loud, works well with my skin tone, and makes me look livelier. What works for me to ensure it lasts as long as possible on my lips:<br /><br />I apply excess amount to my SLIGHTLY damp lips, let it "set" for about 5 minutes. (The dampness allows color to penetrate and drying process allows color to bond with my skin) Then I rub it in with my finger (or built-in smudger), which also removes some of the excess, wait a moment, then blot with dry or slightly damp paper towel (tissue leaves lint). Ends up looking natural, not lipstick-y.<br /><br />If you're a fan of the glossy look (which can also be beautiful), this probably won't work for you. But if you're into mattes and oranges, this one's hard to beat.
