Great for natural hair

It works on even natural, unstraightened hair
It keeps my hair "down" in front and up in the back. It is very tacky and must be used sparingly to avoid a gummed up feel to the hair, but the lay down power of this gel is outstanding. If it can keep my wild crazy hair slick, it is a perfect answer to frizzy edges.
Fantastically Fragrant
Provides great edge control in a perfect non-sticky, non, -greasy formula...Provides a nice shine and hold without hardening my hair. In addition, the most delightful fragrance you can imagine...This product works exceptionally well with natural hair. Oh how I appreciate the fact it contains Olive Oil and provides with a great shine.Did I mention how marvelously fragrant it is? I totally adore this stuff!
Love this product
It definitely does a good job of holding down my edges (Im natural). I will say I dont like to apply on wet hair as it seems white and I like to wipe it out with a wet cloth after every (or every other) application because the buildup is not good for the scalp.
Works!
I purchased this product to combat my stray ends after the application an Outre half wig. Works well with the Organic Root Stimulator Olive Oil Smooth Pudding. It works good as a stand-alone product also.
Why pay more?
I am a middle-aged conservative looking professional with bristly hair that is becoming more Einstein-like as it greys. After trying a few pomades and other "firm hold" products in the $15-$20 range from men's hair care sites, I took my first real search through the hair product aisle at a local pharmacy and decided to take my chances on this product. In my experience, no one hair product does it all 100% perfectly. But for my money, the ORS Edge Control satisfies my check list better than anything else I have tried:<br />1. Greaseless, rinses immediately in the shower.<br />2. No perceptible damage to my hair.<br />3. Smoothes and holds as well as any of the "monster hold" products, and holds my hair in place as soon as I apply and comb.<br />4. The finish is not dull nor is it high-gloss. Looks natural.<br />5. No attention-getting scent. Not completely odorless, but if you've tried these kinds of products you will know what I mean.<br />6. A light damp brushing will put it back into place the next day. Works with small touchups. Lasts 2 days, 3 if necessary.<br />7. 1/3 to 1/4 the price of similar products.<br /> Now I can buy this in quantities from Amazon.
