So far it works!
I was as skeptical as anyone about this working but Iโm moving towards a zero waste lifestyle and was looking for package free deodorant alternatives. Iโve been putting it on after I shower for 3 days now and I was amazed. I work with toddlers so I definitely work up a sweat chasing them but I have stayed stink free! It also arrived early and all the packaging was compostible. I definitely think itโs worth a try for anyone looking to move towards package free hygiene alternatives.
It works!
I was skeptical, but getting desperate in trying to find something that wasn't in a plastic tube that I couldn't recycle. I am pleased to say, I was wrong, it works!<br /><br />I have now been using the crystal immediately after showering and shaving my pits by wetting the stone and rubbing until dry for three weeks. It takes 24 hours of sweating profusely before I smell and my significant other tells me it is more mild than it is when I use the fragrance free, traditional antiperspirant stick I had been using. I have sensitive skin and break out when my skin comes in contact with most fragranced personal care items. I have not had any irritation whatsoever. In fact, it seems to reduce my occasional razor bumps which is a definite plus. I also have to say I appreciate the shape, the rounded, slight dome is very comfortable against my armpit and in my hand when applying.
No transition period
I have switched to this Alum deodorant from regular deodorants and am happy to say that I have been stink free from day 1 of the switch! It works amazing well and I love that it is scent free. The fake scents of regular deodorants are horrible. This is also part of my zero waste lifestyle swap as well. I am glad that I ordered this item and will definitely be reordering this again. Shipping was fast even though it sent Royal International Mail! Very happy.
