Definitely reduced the fur. Nice packaging. I got one for my sister who has one long hair cat that shed horribly. Her cat loves it.

Best grooming brush I've tried--hardly any difference in short/long hair versions, though
I've been regularly brushing my cats for months with other brushes. When I started brushing them with these, it was like I'd never done it. So. Much. Hair. They look and feel so nice now!<br /><br />We have three cats--two short hairs and one long hair, so I bought both versions. I can barely tell the difference. I would not bother. I would give 5 stars, but one of them (not sure if it's short or long hair) isn't fully glued together. So, when I'm trying to open it, sometimes it comes apart instead of opening.
