My cat loves this thing!! In the past I'd be chasing her all over the house with the metal tipped slicker brush and she would make it such a workout for me but I can't blame her. Even if I try to be gentle with it it's still metal tipped and scratches her skin. This one causes her to pur. No more running around the house. She circles around me purring up a storm and lays down to get brushed. The self cleaning function is still working I hope it will continue to work. My previous a slicker was a self cleaner too so after using one, I can never go back. Heard about tips bending and jamming the thing from other reviews so I'm gonna try being careful with it. If it breaks I guess I'll just have to buy another one. It's only $5 and kitty will only permit this one brush near her body. Fingers crossed.

Decent for the price. Not high end
Itโs been a good brush for extra hair removal on my Aussie so far. About 3 or 4 of the small bristles bent & no longer go through when the brush is pushed down for hair removal so thatโs a bummer. Iโm sure more will bend but it is still very functional for $5.
