High recommend this kit. So I just got my chihuahuas teeth cleaned a few weeks ago and I really wanted to find a good toothbrush kit that was small enough and comfortable enough for her. She lets me lift her lip up just like I showed in the picture, and gently brush along the sides. The toothbrush is thin enough so it doesn’t bother her. I give her a greenies treat after too so she knows her patience is getting rewarded.<br />When it comes time to getting the inner crevices of the teeth, I use the finger brush in case she tries to close her mouth on it. She wasn’t a big fan of that part but we were still able to get the job done. I tried my best to get a photo so you can see, her teeth are sparkly clean and gums aren’t irritated. Overall, love this kit.<br /><br />Also, if you have a bigger dog, there is a bigger brush on the other side of the handle, we use the smaller end for her and she’s about 9lbs

Just learning how to brush my dogs teeth after a deep tooth cleaning at vet ($800!!). Trying to avoid having to do that again and still preserve teeth as she ages. Check YouTube videos on proper way to brush dogs teeth. Those were most helpful to me....I had been trying to do it all wrong - it’s just really not as hard as I was making it.
