Great addition to grooming!
I bought this for my grooming shop to help assist in drying dogs heads, ears and muzzles. Many dogs donโt like the noise of our force dryers or as they get older have trouble being dried. So far we absolutely love it! Iโve used it on standard poodle ears trying to smooth out where mom chopped on them, a poodle puppy, an older bichon and an Airedale among others and it is great. Itโs pretty easy to switch the brushes and clean them and not too hard to hold but it does get hot. It wonโt dry a soaking wet dog but itโs great for fluffing hard to dry areas and gives a nice smooth finish. Itโs quieter than a normal hair dryer and so far no dogs have been bothered by it. I wish I had these years ago!

This is a great addition to my salon! I love it. It is great for removing tangles while blowing. Perfect for blow dry cowards and those who don't like their faces done. Only suggestion is if you need to stop for a quick second don't turn it off. It has a heat sensor built in to keep it from getting too hot and burning the dog, but it also kicks in super fast if you shut it off. Don't freak out if this happens, it will come back on when it cools. I have just learned not to shut it off until I am done. Still love it!!!!

NOT quiet
As a former professional dog groomer I had a couple of large stand dryers with a very long nozzle that allowed me to point it toward the dog I was grooming so that I could hold the dog with one hand and brush with the other. I am amazed that every grooming shop Iโve been into does not have even one of those dryers and thatโs why on the rare occasion when I take my fur babies, they donโt come out looking as well as when I groom them myself! I bought A special stand that strapped in a traditional blow dryer many years ago that allowed me to work basically like the large stand dryer. But my grooming table is in the garage and itโs chilly in the winter time even with the heat lamp. I was very happy to come across this blow dryer with the built-in brush. Of course it doesnโt work near as well as a pro stand dryer but it is darn close! Especially given the difference in price - hundreds of $$ โฆ -But as far as it being quiet โ I donโt think so!! Itโs just as noisy as a normal hairdryer . Hence the 4 stars - donโt advertise something that doesnโt exist! Of course the racket from the dryer scares the pups! Sooooโฆ I just have one hand to hold the pup and the other to brush with โ making it a little trickier than using my little โstand dryerโ. And of course itโs much bulkier than just a slicker brush ,making it more difficult to control.
