Seems to produce a more positive than negative effect. Maybe it's my recent haircut; maybe it's my own mood on a particular day. Or maybe it's just my imagination; but I seem to get a little more attention from women when I use this product...only sparingly. The fragrance is subtle and earthy, not offensive at all, at least to me. I recommend giving it a try; you might be surprised!
